2019 WWEST Creating Connections 6.0

May 3-4, 2019 | Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown

On May 3–4, 2019, WWEST will bring together people of all genders and backgrounds for Creating Connections 6.0. The conference will include presentations and workshops surrounding issues of personal and professional development, networking, and inspiration. Creating Connections 6.0 aims to engage industry, the community, and students in BC and Yukon to increase the regional awareness and participation of women and other underrepresented groups in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). The Creating Connections Conference series hopes to facilitate meaningful dialogue to create a space where everyone can explore and participate in STEM to better our world.

2019 Atlantic ConnecTions Conference

Sustaining Women in SETT | May 30-31, 2019 | School of Sustainable Design Engineering, UPEI

The Atlantic ConnecTions Conference provides an opportunity for individuals and organizations from Atlantic Canada to work together to tackle the advancement and retention of women and gender minorities in the Science, Engineering, Technology and Trades (SETT) workforce within industry and academia. The theme of this years conference is Sustaining Women in SETT.

Women, gender minorities, and their allies from a cross-section of industry, education, government, and not-for-profit organizations are invited to participate in the conference.
