WiSER #LETSTALK Mental Health

Join WiSER as we provide a platform to openly discuss about mental health. We invite speakers and panelists to share their personal stories, how to reduce stigma and how we all can help to be more aware of mental health around ourselves. Following the event, you are also invited to our Mindful Yoga session. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided throughout.

2019 Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE) Summit

November 21-22, 2019 | Liuna Station in Hamilton, ON

McMaster University is excited to announce the 2019 Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE) Summit. The Summit will take place November 21 - 22, 2019 at Liuna Station in Hamilton, ON. The full ONWiE Summit includes two days of workshops and panels, as well as a special keynote dinner featuring Maria Klawe, President of Harvey Mudd College, famous for achieving gender parity in computer science. This is your opportunity to learn about innovative approaches to gender parity in STEM, effective high school outreach programs, and tangible ways to measure success.

They are also opening up Maria Klawe’s keynote dinner to the public. Here she’ll be sharing her ways to increase the number of women in tech, with practical solutions for industry partners.
