The National Girls Collaborative Project is proud to be partnering with NASA's Universe of Learning, 'Girls STEAM Ahead with NASA' project. This webinar will explore the free NASA resources, along with accompanying exemplary practices. There will be time for Q&A with NASA's Universe of Learning team to best support your program efforts with the Girls STEAM Ahead with NASA materials.
NASA's Universe of Learning provides resources and experiences that enable youth, families, and lifelong learners to explore fundamental questions in science, experience how science is done, and discover the universe for themselves. Using its direct connection to the science and the experts behind the science, NASA's Universe of Learning creates and delivers timely and authentic resources and experiences for youth, families, and lifelong learners. The goal is to strengthen science learning and literacy, and to enable inquisitive learners to discover the universe for themselves in innovative, interactive ways that meet today's 21st century needs.

2019 Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE) Summit

McMaster University is excited to announce the 2019 Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE) Summit. The Summit will take place November 21 - 22, 2019 at Liuna Station in Hamilton, ON. The full ONWiE Summit includes two days of workshops and panels, as well as a special keynote dinner featuring Maria Klawe, President of Harvey Mudd College, famous for achieving gender parity in computer science. This is your opportunity to learn about innovative approaches to gender parity in STEM, effective high school outreach programs, and tangible ways to measure success.
They are also opening up Maria Klawe’s keynote dinner to the public. Here she’ll be sharing her ways to increase the number of women in tech, with practical solutions for industry partners.
